My best advice: Do not google for info. Write your questions down and ask your md. While we may share the same type everyone is different. A lot of info and stats is years old and things change all the tine

Have a support system of Friends and Family to be with you during treatments! My friends wrote down information to explain to me later because a lot of times everything is overwhelming!

The one thing that came to mind when I had my radiation was try to bring someone with you. A close friend or family member. I had my sister with me and if I didn't it would have been terrible. She just took over and said I will take you . She was always there for me and it really made going there for treatment so much easier. After a while I went myself. I wish everyone had a sister like mine
